Cinnamon Peanut Cookies ๐ฅ
These cinnamon peanut cookies only require 7 ingredients but are tasty so good, satisfying, and healthy. You can eat this cookie as breakfast or a tasty healthy snack throughout your day.
The last time when I visited my parents’ house my mum got me a pack of lightly roasted peanuts. The peanuts are they grew in their community garden. They grew, picked, dried, and roasted the peanut for their children. So, how am I going to use this precious food? I decided to turn them into lovely cookies ๐ช๐งก
Peanut Nutritional Value
Peanuts are rich in essential nutrients. In a 100g reference serving, peanuts provide 2,385 kilojoules (570 kilocalories) of food energy and are an excellent source (defined as more than 20% of the Daily Value, DV) of several B vitamins, vitamin E, several dietary minerals, such as manganese, magnesium and phosphorus, and dietary fiber (right table). They also contain about 25 g of protein per 100 g serving, a higher proportion than in many tree nuts.
Some studies show that regular consumption of peanuts is associated with a lower specific risk of mortality from certain diseases.

- 150g Oats
- 50g Whole wheat flours
- 60g roasted peanuts roughly chopped
- 100g maple syrup
- 1/2tsp cinnamon powder
- 50g melted coconut oils
- pinch of salt
@How to bake
- Preheat the oven at 180 degree
- Add the Oats, flours, roughly chopped roasted peanuts, cinnamon powder and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl and mix them
- Add maple syrup and coconut oil into the mixing bowl and mix them until they become sticky dough
- Place a baking sheet on the baking tray
- Devide the dough as 12 cookies and flatten until 1cm thick on the baking tray
- Bake for 20min or until it changes to golden and crispy
- Pull them out from your oven and cool down before serving
